Student Travel Grants

Application deadline June 10th, 2011

The IEEE Industry Applications Society and Power Electronics Society have established a joint travel reimbursement program for students who wish to attend the Energy Conversion Congress & Expo (ECCE) 2011 which will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA Sept 18-22, 2011. This program will reimburse $500 of travel expenses associated with the conference for up to 60 students.

To be eligible for this program, students must be IEEE student members and be available to serve as volunteers during the conference.

Interested students should complete the application form, which can be found online at the ECCE2011 web site at http://www.ecce2011.org/travel-grants.html and send it by e-mail to the address listed below by June 10th, 2011 with a valid proof of IEEE student membership.

E-mail notifications of travel reimbursement will be sent by June 25th, 2011. Reimbursement of costs will be done at the conference registration site. The students are required to bring the notification email, filled W8 tax form (required for non-US students) or W9 tax forms (required for US students) to the ECCE2011 registration site to get reimbursement.
